Quarto, handmade off white boards, slipcase with cork veneer, in original cardboard box. The handmade papers came from Italy and Japan, and the corks from Portugal. The Gainsboroough 80 lb paper for the text was handfed to a letterpress, pictorial dust jacket. As new.
The book won the prestigious awards for typography and Type Direction & Design in the Type Directors club Annual Awards Show, New York City and was one of the best books published in 1966.
